Saint Alphonsa Muttathupadathu (Malayalam: അല്ഫോന്സാ മുട്ടത്തുപാടത്ത്; Alphonsa dellImmacolata Concezione; 19 August 1910 28 July 1946) is a Roman Catholic Saint. She was the first Indian woman to be elevated to sainthood by the Church, second person from India to be declared so, and also the first saint of the Eastern Catholic Church, Syro-Malabar Catholic Church.
